The California residents in this case had their Honda EX stolen for the second time recently, and once again local police, assisted by the LoJack® system, were able to recover the car and return it to them. It’s a good bet that the Honda owners consider their LoJack purchase money well spent.

On July 23rd, 2013, the Honda’s owners contacted the San Bernardino School Police to report that their vehicle was stolen. Officers verified the theft and they entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack unit concealed in the EX, which was installed at Miller Honda in Van Nuys, CA, was then automatically activated.

A short while later, San Bernardino PD officers picked up the homing signal from the Honda on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers tracked the moving vehicle and finally stopped it on Stoddard Avenue. The male driver was in possession of a ring of “shaved keys”, commonly used for auto theft, and was taken into custody. The undamaged EX was soon returned to its grateful owners.
