The LoJack® System Helps Fresno, California Police Recover Stolen Ford F-250 Pickup in just 12 Minutes

The LoJack® system helps your local police get your stolen vehicle back fast; in some cases, AMAZINGLY fast; as in this example, when it took Fresno, CA police only 12 minutes to recover a Ford F-250 pickup.

On June 19th, 2013, the Ford’s owners contacted the Fresno Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen. Fresno PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the truck.

Just a few minutes later, the flight crew of Air One, a Fresno PD helicopter, picked up the homing signals from the stolen Ford with the LoJack tracking computer installed in the aircraft. The crew tracked the vehicle to a residential area near Kearney and Pickford Avenues in West Fresno and alerted ground crews. The truck was located parked and abandoned. The undamaged F-250 was soon returned to its very relieved owners.
