The LoJack® system is famous for assisting law enforcement in locating stolen cars, trucks, vans and motorcycles- fast. In this particular case, a missing Audi TT is found incredibly fast- in only seven minutes after activation.

On June 4th, 2013, the Audi’s owners contacted the Los Angeles Police Department-North Hollywood Division to report that their vehicle was stolen. LAPD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the TT, which was installed at Toyota of Santa Monica, CA.

Just a few minutes later, officers from LAPD-Topanga Division picked up the homing signal from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computer installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers located the Audi parked on the street in the area of Chase and Capistrano Ave. Two suspects inside of the vehicle were taken into custody, and the TT was soon returned to its grateful owners.
