On February 4, 2013 the owner of a 2007 Suzuki GS6 motorcycle contacted the La Mesa Police Department to report that his motorcycle was stolen from his residence in the city of La Mesa.

The La Mesa Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the Suzuki GS6 motorcycle.

Within an hour, San Diego Police Auto Theft investigators picked up the silent LoJack homing signals from the stolen motorcycle on the Police Tracking Computer installed in their patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the LoJack computers, the investigators tracked the signal to the 4800 block of Jarrett Court in San Diego.  The motorcycle was found covered with a tarp. A temporary surveillance was initiated, and the motorcycle was later recovered.

The owner of the Suzuki GS6 motorcycle was happy when the investigators informed him that the motorcycle was recovered undamaged. The Suzuki motorcycle was valued at approximately $5,975.00

The LoJack Vehicle Recovery System was installed in the Suzuki GS6 motorcycle on March 28, 2008 at West Coast Motor Sports in Perris California.
