San Diego Police Quickly Recover Stolen Infiniti FX35 Stolen in La Mesa

When the owner of a 2006 Infiniti FX35 discovered that her vehicle had been stolen on the evening of March 25, 2012, she immediately reported the theft to the La Mesa Police Department. Las Mesa officers responded to the scene, completed a stolen vehicle report and had the Infiniti’s information entered in to the state and federal crime computer systems. This routine police action automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed within the Infiniti. Neither the owner nor law enforcement agents had to take any further action to initiate the police’s tracking of the vehicle, as LoJack’s interface with the police is both seamless and instantaneous.
A short while later, San Diego Police ground units began to pick up the stolen Infiniti’s silent LoJack signal on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers installed in their patrol vehicles. Following the directional and signal strength cues on the onboard computer, the officers quickly tracked and located the Infiniti near the 1900 block of Emerald Street. The vehicle was abandoned, and quickly recovered by the police.
The LoJack Vehicle Recovery System was installed in the Infiniti six years ago by a previous owner. The current owner was pleased that the vehicle was equipped with a LoJack system, and was even happier that her vehicle was recovered undamaged and able to be driven home.
