On March 5, 2012, Anaheim Police Department’s Air Angel flight officers picked up the silent LoJack signal of a stolen 2000 Acura MDX that had been reported stolen to Anaheim Police twenty minutes earlier.
Following the directional and signal strength cues on the LoJack Police Tracking Computer in their aircraft, they tracked and located the vehicle traveling through a motel parking lot.  Ground units were directed to the parking lot and conducted a felony stop, taking two male suspects into custody without further incident. The victim was transported to the scene of recovery and was shown a key with an alarm pod. He indicated that the key had been stolen from his desk a week prior, and positively identified the key and alarm pod.
The Toyota was recovered without any damage, and was released to the victim at the scene. The suspects were later booked for vehicle theft and possession of Methamphetamine.
The owner of this vehicle had LoJack installed by Longo Toyota in October 2000.
