On July 25, 2012, the owner of a Jeep Cherokee contacted the New Castle County Police Department to report the vehicle stolen.  New Castle officers verified the theft and had the vehicle’s information entered into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the 1996 Jeep.
