When a customer drove a Dodge Ram 1500 from a dealership in Clovis, CA, to have it examined by their mechanic, the driver provided identification, proof of insurance and signed a short term use agreement, but failed to return with the pickup. Dealer management discovered the information provided was falsified and reported the truck stolen.

On October 11, 2012 the owner of a 2007 Honda Pilot contacted the Fresno Police Department to report that the vehicle had been stolen from in front of his residence.
