During the early morning hours of February 2, 2013, the owners of a Honda Accord discovered their car stolen from their residence in Millcreek, Utah. The owners immediately contacted the Unified Police Department, where a report was filed.  Unified Police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the Utah State and Federal crime

On May 31, 2012, the owner of a Ford F-150 contacted the Unified Police Department to report that their truck was stolen from a 7/11 Store in Unincorporated Salt Lake County. The owner of a 2007 Scion, visiting Utah from Southern California, last saw the vehicle parked in a church parking lot between 9:00 P.M. and 10:00 P.M. on March 12, 2012 as he attended an event at the church.
