The owners of a 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe contacted the Houston Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from their apartment complex parking lot. The Houston PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Chevrolet Tahoe. A

On February 22, 2013 the owner of a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado pickup contacted the Houston Police Department to report his vehicle stolen. According to the owner, when he stopped at an intersection, several men displaying a handgun demanded the vehicle. The owner jumped from the vehicle and ran away.
