The owner of a 2015 BMW X1 contacted the San Diego Police Department to report that his vehicle was stolen in the city of San Diego. The San Diego PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the BMW.

A local dealership manager contacted the Roswell Police Department to report that a 2015 BMW X1 used by the dealership as a loaner vehicle was given out to a customer until his vehicle could be repaired.  That person would not return the BMW to the dealerships and would not return phone calls.
