On March 31, 2012, the owner of a 2002 Subaru Impreza contacted the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office to report the vehicle stolen.   The responding officer completed a vehicle theft report and had all of the Subaru’s information entered into the state and federal police computer systems. When the owners of a 2007 Jeep Wrangler discovered that their vehicle had been stolen on the morning of March 26, 2012, they immediately reported the theft to the Arapahoe County Sherriff’s Office. After completing a stolen vehicle report, the Sheriff’s Office had the Jeep’s information entered into the state and federal crime computer systems.
