The owner of a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe contacted the Dallas Police Department to report that his vehicle was stolen. The owner left his Chevrolet in his driveway running and unattended.  When he returned, he found his Chevrolet missing. The Dallas PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime

On March 29, 2012, Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department-Lancaster patrol deputies began to pick up a silent LoJack signal on their patrol car’s LoJack Police Tracking Computer. After querying the “Reply Code” appearing on the computer display with the police stolen vehicle database, the deputies were alerted that they were tracking a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe 4×4
