On February 12, 2012, the owners of a 2005 Ford F-150 parked their vehicle by a soccer field to watch a game.  Apparently, the suspect observed the victim place the Ford’s keys into a duffle bag, which was left on the ground.  The suspect stole the keys without being seen, and then stole the victims’ pickup

On January 30, 2012, Hertz Equipment Rentals in French Camp, CA, discovered that their 2005 Ford F-250 was missing. They quickly reported the theft to Contra Costa  California Highway Patrol. After verifying the theft, CHP officers completed a stolen vehicle report and had the Ford pickup truck’s VIN entered into the state and federal crime computers.
