Late on a recent Monday morning, a 2008 Acura TSX was discovered missing. It was not gone for long thanks to local police and the LoJack® system- the two teamed up to recover the car in just a half hour after activation.

On November 4th, 2013, the Acura’s owner contacted Gilbert Police to report the crime. Officers entered the stolen vehicle’s information into the NCIC police computer. This routine police action automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the TSX, which was installed at Acura of Temecula, CA

Just a few minutes later, a Mesa Police air crew began picking up the homing signal from the stolen car with the LoJack tracking computer installed in their helicopter. The air crew tracked the Acura to a motel parking lot where it was parked and abandoned, and requested ground assistance. The ground officers recovered the TSX and returned it to its thankful owner.
