This case involves a Chevrolet Cobalt that was stolen on a Saturday morning in Denver, CO, and recovered by police in less than a half hour after activation.

On September 28th, 2013, the Chevy’s owners contacted the Denver Police to report that their vehicle had been stolen. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the Chevrolet, which was installed at Spradley Chevrolet in Pueblo, CO.

A short while later, officers with Denver PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen car with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers located the Chevy several blocks away where it was parked and abandoned. The Cobalt was soon returned to its very grateful owners.
