This Portland, OR resident got a terrible early morning shock recently when he left his home to get into the Mazda MPV van he had parked a little over five hours earlier- but it was gone. He promptly reported the theft to the Portland Police Bureau who verified the information and entered the VIN (vehicle identification number) into their stolen vehicle database.  This action automatically activated the LoJack® device concealed in the MPV, which was installed at Puente Hills Mazda in City of Industry, CA.

Just a few minutes later, Portland PD officers received the homing signal from the Mazda on the LoJack tracking computers in their patrol cars.  The van was found abandoned on SE 128th Street. The undamaged Mazda was soon returned to its very grateful owner.
