A company whose business relies on making deliveries cannot afford to be without their vehicle. That’s why so many business owners choose to have the LoJack® system installed on their cars, trucks and vans. Case in point- the Perth Amboy, NJ business owner who noticed a Ford E-350 work van missing when he arrived at work on May 16th, 2013. He surely felt that the LoJack device was a worthwhile purchase when the van was recovered by police just 79 minutes after activation.

The van’s owner called the Perth Amboy Police to report that the Ford had been stolen. PAPD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into their state and federal crime computers. This action automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the E-350, which was installed at Oasis Dodge in Old Bridge, NJ.

A very short time later, a PAPD officer picked up the homing signal from the stolen van on the LoJack tracking computer installed in his patrol vehicle. The officer tracked the Ford to an industrial complex on Route 9 where it was recovered abandoned. The E-350 was soon returned to its relieved owner.
