LoJack System Helps Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Recover Stolen Ford F150

The owners of a 2017 Ford F150 contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to report their vehicle stolen from in front of their residence, which is in the 3600 block of Forrest Crest.  The owners had left the Ford parked and left the keys inside and left it unsecured.  When they returned to use the Ford they found it missing so they notified the police.   

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford.

Twelve minutes later officers from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ford with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to a residential address in the 2700 block of Heritage River.  The Ford was located unoccupied and undamaged.  Police recovered stolen Ford and returned it back to the happy owners. 

The LoJack® System was installed in the Ford F150 in December 2016 at Team Ford, Las Vegas, Nevada.
