The owners of a 2017 Ford Focus contacted the Corona Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen in the city of Corona. Corona Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford.

At a later time, officers from Corona Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ford Focus with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to the 400 block of East Ontario Avenue in the city of Corona.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Ford Focus in March 2019 at Auto Gallery-Corona, Corona, California.
