The owners of a 2016 Ford F-150 contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen from in front of their residence in the 7000 Cypress Gardens.  The owners had parked their Ford in front of their residence and left it locked for the night.  When they returned in the morning they found it missing so they notified police.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford.

A short while later officers from Tijuana Federal Police picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ford with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to a parking garage in the city of Tijuana Mexico.  The Ford was recovered and impounded.  The Ford was then expeditiously repatriated back to the United States and returned to the owners.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Ford F-150 in June 2016 at Citrus Motors, Ontario, California.
