The owners of a 2010 Toyota Camry contacted the Harris County PCT. 4 Constable office to report that their vehicle was stolen from their residence by unknown person(s) sometime during the previous night. Pct. 4 Constable Deputies verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the State and Federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota.

A short while later deputies from the Harris County Sheriff Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the deputies tracked the vehicle to a large apartment complex near Ella Blvd. and Richey Road in North Harris County.  The vehicle sustained minor damage and was stored pending owner notification.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota Camry in March 2010 at Mike Calvert Toyota, HOUSTON, TX
