LoJack System Helps Riverside Police Department Recover Stolen Dodge Challenger

The owner of a 2016 Dodge Challenger contacted the Riverside Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen in the city of Riverside. Riverside Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Dodge.

A short while later an officer from Riverside Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Dodge with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officer tracked the vehicle to the100 block of East Alessandro Blvd. in the city of Riverside. The vehicle was recovered parked and unoccupied at that location.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Dodge Challenger in September of 2016 at Rydell Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge Ram, San Fernando, California.
