This Hyundai Santa Fe was stolen while the owner was at a meeting located in the 3800 block of North 27th Street in Tacoma.  The theft was reported to the Tacoma Police Department who verified the report and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Hyundai.

Just ten minutes later, a Tacoma PD officer, equipped with a LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC), received the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Hyundai.  He located the Hyundai at an apartment complex parking lot in the 2200 block of 87th Street South in Tacoma.  The Hyundai was not damaged but some personal items of clothing were missing from the vehicle.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Hyundai Santa Fe in November 2016 at Toyota of Tacoma in Washington when it was purchased as a used car.
