LoJack® System Helps Stockton Police Department Recover Stolen Mercedes C300

The owners of a used car dealership contacted the Roseville Police Department to report that a 2011 Mercedes Benz C300 was purchased using fraudulent means. They wanted to report the car stolen.
The Roseville PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Mercedes C300.

A short while later officers from the Stockton Police Department and the San Joaquin Sheriff’s Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Mercedes with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Mercedes to the area of W Regal and Regal Ct in the City of Stockton. This is a residential area. The Mercedes was parked and abandoned at the curb. There were no suspects seen.

The Mercedes was towed and stored to be processed for finger prints.
The LoJack® System was installed in the Mercedes Benz C300 in May 2016 at Roseville Toyota in California.
