The owner of a 2007 Lexus RX contacted the Westampton Police Department to report that several men forced their way into his home and robbed his family. When they left they took his Lexus.

The Westampton PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Lexus.

A short while later, officers from the Willingboro Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal coming from the stolen Lexus with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Lexus to Maplewick Lane where the vehicle was found parked and occupied. As the officer’s approached the Lexus the occupants fled on foot. After a short foot chase the driver of the Lexus was arrested. The Lexus was recovered undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2007 Lexus RX in May 2007 at Lexus of Cherry Hill in Maple Shade, New Jersey.
