The owner of a 2015 Nissan Sentra contacted the Corona Police Department to report their vehicle had been stolen in the city of Corona.

The Corona PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Nissan.

Within 7 minutes, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Nissan with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the deputies tracked the Nissan to the area of Mesa Road and Glen Oak Ave. in the unincorporated area of Rancho in Temecula.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Nissan Sentra in September 2015 at Riverside Auto Group in California.
