The owner of a 1994 Honda Accord contacted the Las Vegas Metro Police Department to report the vehicle was stolen. The owner stated her Honda was parked in her driveway and when she went out for it in the morning the Honda was missing. The owner further advised her Honda has LoJack and she called the LoJack Call Center to report the theft as well.
The Las Vegas Metro PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

Within seven minutes after the stolen vehicle entry, officers from the LVMPD and troopers with the Nevada Highway Patrol picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Honda and found it to be occupied by two subjects. One subject was released at the scene and the other was arrested for auto theft related charges.

The Honda was recovered and will be returned to the owner. The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Accord in April 2013 via Nevada Direct Customer Sales in Las Vegas.
