The owner of a 2007 Infiniti FX 35 contacted the Dallas Police Department to report that his vehicle was stolen. The owner while walking to his Infiniti in his apartment parking lot was approached by a suspect, who assaulted him, took his car keys and stole his vehicle.
The Dallas PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Infiniti.

Nineteen minutes later, officers from the Dallas PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Infiniti with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the stolen Infiniti to the 5500 block of Maryland St, where they found it abandoned on the street. The Infiniti was recovered in good condition. Officers are reviewing video from the apartment parking lot to see if a suspect can be identified.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Infiniti FX35 in May 2007 at Crest Auto Group in Plano, Texas.
