The owners of a 2014 Chrysler Town & Country contacted the Warren Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen overnight from their driveway. The owner also advised that one set of the keys were recently misplaced.
The Warren PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Chrysler.

A short while later detectives from the ACTION Task Force picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Chrysler with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC’s) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the detectives tracked the Chrysler to a grocery store parking lot in Hazel Park, Michigan.

Surveillance was set up by ACTION members along with members from OCAT and MATS Task Forces. A short time later the suspect returned, entered the stolen Chrysler, and before it could be driven off a felony stop was conducted. The suspect was arrested and the stolen Chrysler was impounded.
The LoJack® System was installed in the Chrysler Town & Country in September 2015 by Enterprise Car Sales in Warren, Michigan.
