The owner of a 2005 Dodge Caravan called the Las Vegas Metro Police Department to report the vehicle as stolen.

The Las Vegas Metro PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Dodge.

A short time later, officers from the Las Vegas Metro PD VIPER team picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Dodge with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Dodge to the 4300 block of West Flamingo.

The Dodge Caravan was recovered and was returned to the owner on the scene.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Dodge Caravan in December 2004 at Dodgeland USA Inc. in Las Vegas, Nevada.
