The owners of a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro SS discovered that their car was stolen from in front of their home in Walnut Creek, California.

The Walnut Creek Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Camaro.

40 minutes later the Pittsburg Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Camaro with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, officers located the stolen Camaro in Pittsburg where it was parked on a residential side street.  The owners of the stolen Camaro were notified and it was released to them in the field.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro in July 2014 at Winter Chevrolet in Pittsburg, California.
