The owner of the Toyota Camry parked his car near his house and when he went to get it he found it missing. This was in Maspeth New York, confines of the 104 precinct. He immediately called the Police, when they arrived they took a written report. This information was then entered by the NYPD in the City, State, and Federal crime computer which automatically activated the LoJack® System in the stolen Toyota.

Within a short while of the activation, Police Officers from 104 precinct picked up the silent LoJack signal on their onboard LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC) that their vehicle was equipped with. This was in the Maspeth section of Queens, confines of the 104 Precinct. They tracked the Toyota through various streets in Maspeth, eventually locating the vehicle parked on a residential street. They staked the Toyota out for a short while, however when no one showed up for the vehicle they took it into custody. The Toyota was recovered in excellent condition, with no damage on it.

The owner was contacted and he was elated that his Toyota was recovered so quickly, especially with no damage. He further stated that he was happy that when he purchased the Toyota, he purchased the LoJack system with the car.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota in July 2004 at Queensboro Toyota, Jackson Heights Queens, New York.
