The owner of a 2007 Honda Odyssey contacted the New York Police Department’s 40th Precinct in the Bronx to report that his vehicle was stolen from in front of his house where he had it parked.

When the police arrived they took a written report, this information was then entered into the state and federal crime computers.  Once this was done the LoJack tracking device that was hidden on the vehicle was automatically activated. This activation causes a silent signal to be sent out.

A short while later police officers from the 90th Precinct, Williamsburg, Brooklyn picked up the silent signal on their onboard tracking computer that their vehicle was equipped with. They tracked the signal to a commercial area of Williamsburg, where they found the vehicle parked and unoccupied on a commercial street. They decided to stake the vehicle out. After a short while when no one showed up for the vehicle, they took the vehicle into custody. The vehicle was recovered in good condition.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2007 Odyssey at P.S. Honda Manhasset NY.
