The owners of a Nissan Altima contacted the Denver Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen.

The police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Nissan.

A short while later officers with the Denver PD picked up the silent LoJack® homing signals from the stolen Altima with the LoJack® Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to the 500 block of South Dale Court and located the vehicle and made an arrest of one suspect.

The Nissan was returned to the very grateful owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Nissan Altima in November 2004.
