The owners of a 2008 Land Rover contacted the Denver PD to report that their vehicle had been stolen after they had discovered keys and other personal property taken from their home.

Denver officers verified the theft and had the vehicle information quickly entered into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Land Rover.

Moments later, Denver PD officers were picking up the silent LoJack® homing signals from the stolen SUV with the LoJack® Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, these officers tracked the vehicle to Alameda and Harrison where a traffic stop was initiated.  Officers safely recovered the vehicle and made one arrest.  The vehicle was returned to the very happy owners who were unaware that their vehicle had been equipped with LoJack by a previous owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Land Rover in seven years ago in California.
