The owners of a 2012 Toyota FJC contacted the Los Angeles Police Department-Topanga Division to report that their vehicle was stolen.

LAPD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota.

Minutes later, patrol deputies from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department-Lost Hills Station picked up the silent signals from the LoJack® System installed on the stolen Toyota on the LoJack® Police Tracking Computers installed in their patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the LoJack® computers, the vehicle was tracked and located in the City of Calabasas.

The vehicle was undamaged and released to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota on 08/04/12 at Keyes Toyota, in the city of Van Nuys, CA.
