The LoJack® System Helps San Diego, California Police Department Recover Stolen Honda CLX

The San Diego, CA resident in this case looked out his window on a recent Wednesday and discovered his Honda CLX was missing. Because this vehicle had the LoJack® system installed at purchase, local law enforcement, assisted by LoJack, made a fast, safe, same-day recovery.

On June 4th, 2014, the Honda’s owner contacted the San Diego Police Department to report that his vehicle was stolen. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack transponder concealed in the CLX which was installed at Lundgren Honda in Auburn, MA, was then automatically activated.

A short while later, officers from the San Diego PD picked up the silent homing signals from the stolen car with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers located the Honda in a hotel lot, where it was parked and abandoned. The CLX was retrieved and soon returned to its relieved owner.
