In this case, a Chevrolet Blazer stolen from Arvada, CO, is recovered the same day thanks to the excellent work of local law enforcement, with an assist from the LoJack® system installed when the SUV was purchased.

On May 22nd, 2014, the Chevy’s owners contacted the Arvada Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen. The police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Blazer, which was installed at Enterprise Car Sales in Aurora, CO.

Minutes later, officers with the Westminster PD, Colorado State Patrol and Denver PD were picking up the silent homing signals from the stolen SUV with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The Chevy was found parked and unoccupied on Julian Way. Police retrieved the Blazer and soon returned it to its relieved owners.
