The owner of a Toyota Tundra pickup contacted the Wheat Ridge PD to report that his truck has been stolen with keys.  A police officer verified the victim’s information and had the stolen Toyota entered into the state and federal crime computers.  This routine action automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota.

A short time later Denver PD officers picked up the silent LoJack signals from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTCs) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from their PTCs officer tracked the vehicle to the 500 block of North Washington.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota Tundra in Jul 2007 at Red McCombs Toyota in San Antonio, Texas at the request of a previous owner.
