The owner of a 2017 Dodge Ram Pickup Truck contacted the Sayreville Police Department to report his vehicle stolen from the parking lot where he works in Sayreville. The Sayreville Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2017 Dodge Ram Pickup Truck.

A short while later, officers from the Trenton Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal coming from the stolen Dodge with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) installed in their patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to Stokes Avenue in the Township of Ewing, where the vehicle was located parked in a vacant lot.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2017 Dodge Ram Pickup Truck in July 2017 at Route 1 Jeep in New Jersey.
