The owners of a 2018 Maserati Levante, a large used car dealership in Rahway NJ, reported their vehicle stolen, the details are as follows. On a normal business day, the dealership did a routine inventory check of the vehicles on their lot. It was then that they discovered their vehicle was missing. They immediately called the police of the Rahway Police Department. Police verified the theft and entered the vehicles information into state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System installed in the Maserati Levante. This was done both seamlessly and automatically without any other notifications.

Several hours later Officers from The New Rochelle Police picked up the silent LoJack signal with their Police Tracking Computer (PTC) installed in squad cars and aircraft. Officers first picked up the silent and directional signal in a business area of New Rochelle, and then tracked to a residential area. There they found the vehicle unoccupied. They staked the vehicle out for a short while, when no one returned for the vehicle, they recovered the stolen vehicle.

The vehicle was recovered with no damage; the Rahway Police were notified of the recovery, as well as the dealership. The dealership was elated, that their vehicle was recovered so quickly, and with no damage.

LoJack unit was installed in the Maserati Levante in April 2018 at Enterprise of Ronkonkoma, NY.

The value of the vehicle was approximately $75,000.00.
