The owners of a 2018 Land Rover reported to Atlanta Police their vehicle stolen. Once Atlanta Police verified the theft, then they entered the vehicle’s information into the NCIC system, which automatically activated the hidden LoJack in the vehicle.

After being entered as stolen Officers from Clayton County Sherriff’s Police picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Land Rover with the LoJack Tracking Computers (PTC’s) installed in their vehicles and Air Units. After searching the area where they picked up the signal they were able to determine that it was concealed inside of a residential garage. Officers made contact with the residents and they opened the garage to reveal the stolen Land Rover.

The House was secured and a search warrant was obtained to locate further evidence of the stolen vehicle and identify the suspects. One person was taken in to Police Custody at the scene.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Land Rover in February 2018 at Hennessey Land Rover Buckhead, Ga.
