The owners of a 2017 Toyota Highlander had their vehicle stolen from their home.  They reported the theft to the Aurora Police Department.  Officers on scene verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers.  This routine action automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota.

Within the hour Denver police officers were picking up the silent LoJack signals from the stolen Highlander with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTCs) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from their PTCs officers tracked the vehicle to the 20600 block of East Lackland Place, two miles from the theft location, and found the vehicle unoccupied.  It was returned on scene to the very happy owners.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota Highlander in December 2016 at Northridge Toyota, Northridge California.
