LoJack System Helps Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department & Nevada Highway Patrol Recover Stolen Ford Mustang Three Times.

The owner of a 2018 Ford Mustang contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to report her vehicle stolen from in front of her residence in the 800 block of Held. The owner stated that she mistakenly left the keys to her home and car in the lock of her front door and went inside for the night.  When she tried to leave the next morning she found her keys missing and remembered that they had been left in the lock.  When she checked, she found the keys missing along with her Ford so she notified the police. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford.

Ten minutes later officers from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ford with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to the 1100 block of Golden Apple where they located the Ford unoccupied and undamaged. The Ford was then recovered and returned back to the owner. 

Several days later, the owner went to leave her house and found that her Ford once again stolen so she notified police about the theft. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford.

Six minutes later officers from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ford with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to the 3800 block of Sebasco where they located the Ford unoccupied and undamaged.  The Ford was then recovered and returned back to the owner. 

Several days later the owner went to leave her house and found that her Ford once again stolen so she notified police about the theft. 

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford.

A short while later troopers from Nevada Highway Patrol picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ford with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the troopers tracked the vehicle to the 4000 block of Vegas where they located the Ford unoccupied and unharmed.  The Ford was then recovered and returned back to the owner.  This time the owner took the Ford to the dealership to have the ignition system reprogrammed with all new keys. 

The LoJack® System was installed in the Ford in March of 2018 at Friendly Ford, Las Vegas, Nevada.
