The owners of a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja Motorcycle contacted the Clifton Police Department to report that someone had broken into his home while he was at work. One of the items taken in the burglary was his motorcycle.  The Clifton Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2009 Kawasaki Ninja Motorcycle.

A short while later officers from the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department picked up the silent LoJack signal coming from the stolen Kawasaki with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to Hamilton Ave in the City of Paterson.  The stolen motorcycle was located inside of a stolen Chrysler Town and County Van that was parked in the street. Both vehicles were impounded for investigation.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2009 Kawasaki Ninja Motorcycle in April 2009 at Motorcycle Mall in Belleville, N.J.
