The owner of a 2010 Toyota Camry contacted the Upper Darby Police Department to report that his vehicle was stolen while he was in a convenience store in Upper Darby. The vehicle was left running in the parking lot. The Upper Darby Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2010 Toyota Camry.

A short while later officers from the Upper Darby Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal coming from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their  patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to a parking lot on School Lane in Upper Darby. The vehicle was located parked and undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2010 Toyota Camry in March 2010, at Faulkner Toyota in Trevose, PA.
