The owners of a 2008 Honda Accord reported the theft of their vehicle to Nashville Police. Nashville Police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information entered into the state and federal crime computers.  This routine action automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda Accord.

Within minutes a Helicopter from the Tennessee Highway Patrol began tracking the signal. Ground Units from Nashville Metro were also began tracking the vehicle.  The vehicle was located and occupied by four individuals. The vehicle fled from Officers and eventually all four jumped from the vehicle and fled on foot. The Helicopter and ground units communicated together and one by one they captured all four occupants from the stolen Honda.

This shows great work among agencies working together and using the LoJack Trackers that are installed in their vehicles and helicopters. The vehicle was recovered within an hour of the reported theft and returned to its owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda in October 2008, at Crest Honda in Nashville.
