The owners of a 2017 Honda Accord contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen their residence in the 6600 block of Brick House.  The owners had been away from their residence and when they returned they found that their home had been burglarized and their Honda Accord had been stolen as a result.  They then contacted the police department.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

A short while later officers from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to the parking lot of a soccer field in the 6600 block of Russell Road.  The Honda was abandoned and undamaged.  The Honda was then recovered and returned back to the owners.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Accord in July 2017 at Shack Findlay Honda, Henderson, Nevada.
