The owner of a 2006 Toyota Corolla contacted the Emmaus Police Department to report that his vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of a shopping mall in Emmaus.  The Emmaus Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2006 Toyota Corolla.

A short while later Detectives from the Lehigh County Police Auto Theft Task Force picked up the silent LoJack signal coming from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Detectives tracked the vehicle to a parking lot on the corner of Gilmore and Highland Street in the City of Allentown. The vehicle was located parked and undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2006 Toyota Corolla in June 2006, at Atlantic Toyota in N.Y.
